Thursday, February 05, 2009

Trois-Rivières, February 5, 2009 - GDG Environnement is glad to announce the recent acquisition of a Bell 206B helicopter with a cutting edge fix-mounted system (the Broadcaster) used for the application of granular Bti. This helicopter represents an investment of almost $500 000.

This acquisition will help us meet market requirements. Changing weather conditions, during our mosquito control operations, require efficiency and flexibility and GDG Environnement, with its own fleet of aircrafts, 4 airplanes and 4 helicopters, reinforce its commitment to provide just that : effective and high quality services while remaining competitive.

« Our order book coupled with a changing meteorological context had us address the problem. Aerial treatments are done under very tight schedules and are a key element of our biological mosquito control programs and of our success», said Jean-Guy Lanouette, President of GDG Environnement.
